One of the key strengths of the MOD-1040 is its ability to measure sub-ppm oxygen concentrations in nitrogen at atmospheric pressure with excellent stability and repeatability.

 

However, what is less widely known is how process pressure significantly improves detection capability. When measurements are performed directly in a pressurized process stream, the higher partial pressure of oxygen allows the analyzer to reach ppb-level sensitivity, enabling extremely early detection of contamination or air ingress.
This is why the MOD-1040 is often installed directly in the process line, avoiding sample extraction systems and allowing reliable trace-oxygen monitoring under real operating conditions.
